For the December 15th St. Joseph and St. Bernadette bulletin, we will include an insert recognizing Active Duty Military within the parish families. If you have family members in active duty (including Reservists and National Guard as well as the conventional branches) please send a military photo, name, family name, branch of service, and a few words about that person. We pray for them at every Mass, so let's get to know them a little better. This is not limited to your immediate family. Nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, parents, kids, cousins, all are welcome.
Email your information to Ray Hayes at [email protected] before Sunday, December 1, to have your family member included in this insert.
Family Catechesis Sunday
We will come together as families to learn all about the Jesse Tree as we draw near to the Advent season.
Enjoy lunch as a family and then breakout sessions by age group to do activities and have age appropriate lessons. We will come back together to create our own Jesse Tree ornaments and share how we can add this wonderful tradition to our Advent season.
Living liturgically is a great way to keep our Catholic faith alive. Please join us this Sunday. Let us know your family is coming by calling the parish office.
St. Bernadette and St. Joseph have endowment
funds that The Catholic Foundation manages.
These funds are longer-term, sustained
investments designed to provide our parish
with a perpetual source of income outside of
the weekly offertory. As 2024 draws to a close,
now is the time to consider contributing cash,
appreciated stocks, IRA rollovers, and other
assets to this Fund, which can lower your tax
exposure while significantly impacting St.
Bernadette and St. Joseph. Some assets take
longer to process, so now is the time to start
your year-end giving to benefit St. Bernadette
and St. Joseph. For more information, please
contact Jim Hahn at (614) 443-8893 x 1120 or
[email protected].
